Cool Stool School
with the Bayside Woodworkers and Woodcrafters Club
Daily workshops
Work with the Bayside Woodies to create your very own three legged stool to take home.
Participants will be taught a range of woodworking skills and encouraged to grow their interest in all things wood.
Age: Suitable for 11 yrs and up
When:
- Saturday May 4th, 10 am to 12 pm & 1 pm – 3 pm
- Sunday May 5th, 10 am to 12 pm & 1 pm – 3 pm
- Monday May 6th, 10 am to 12 pm & 1 pm – 3 pm
Cost: $25 per person
Bookings: Maximum of 8 participants per workshop.
What to wear and things to note:
- Participants are to wear covered shoes
- Parents to remain close by in case they are needed
All tools and equipment will be supplied. Participants get to take their stool home.
Please note Maleny Wood Expo day passes are not included in the ticket price for Cool Stool School, please purchase these separately.
About About the Bayside Woodworkers and Woodcrafters Club
Based in Manly Queensland, the Bayside Woodies exist to inspire a love of woodworking and to bring together highly skilled craftspeople willing to share their knowledge with those wanting to learn.
Their skills cover woodturning, box making, scroll saw, intarsia, carving, pyrography, toy making and musical instruments!
Cool Stool School is a favourite amongst Wood Expo children each year.
